We began the design process by researching the target audience and the competition. We started by analyzing the existing competition to identify common themes and trends. We conducted surveys and interviews with potential customers to understand their preferences and expectations for the new application.
Design: Based on our research findings, we developed a visual identity that was modern, fresh, and health-focused. We used a color palette of reds and blues to convey a sense of freshness and vitality and included images of fresh, wholesome ingredients to highlight the restaurant's commitment to healthy, sustainable food.
Typography: We selected a clean, modern, and slightly edgy font for the website's headlines and body text, with a focus on legibility and readability. The font was chosen to complement the overall visual identity of the website and reinforce the restaurant's health-focused philosophy.
Imagery: We used high-quality, professional images of the restaurant's food and ingredients to showcase the quality and freshness of the menu.
Implementation: Once the visual identity was finalized, we implemented it across the website, including the logo, color scheme, typography, and imagery. We also developed guidelines for the use of the visual identity, to ensure consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
